My name is Long Nguyen. I was born in Trondheim, but most of my time I spent living in Asker, not far from Oslo in Norway. I have always been passionate aboout drawing birds, which eventually lead me to the world of fly tying. 

I am newly trained landscape architect, as I am graduating May 2016 at the University of Life Science at Ås, Norway. I work at Dronninga Landskap AS, which is a landscape architect firm that are well reckognized for their wonderful projects in landscaping. 

For me, tying fishing flies is something I enjoy the most. I love crafting beautiful flies, as it gives a great pleasure and satisfaction. Tying flies is also like therapy, and I'm lucky to get to know a lot of nice people within this hobby. Through fly tying, I can travel all over the world, to meet friends and achieve new knowledge, at the same time tying a fly or two.
