A vintage Dee fly I used to own. Now it is preserved in private collection in Scotland, as it should be. 

 

The dressing says mohair, but on this particular fly it was used seals fur. The dressing also says that the wing should be dark brown turkey strips, but the tier didn't follow the dressing it seems, as he tied the wing with cinnamon turkey. I think it looks better this way anyway!

Light blue and rich claret mohair, picked out a little, claret the most

About 20 long fibres grey heron at shoulder only
